“Visited lunch so we were the only people there. The waiter was very friendly and polite. We got to sit facing the street so were able to watch the madness on the street going by.
Food was slightly disappointing, fried veg spring rolls seemed to be all chopped up bits of onion and not much else, stir fry beef curry was OK, but we weren’t impressed with the pork in a clay pot. The pork was lovely and tender but didn’t have much flavour unfortunately and it was supposed to come with coconut cream in it but it seemed far too watery and the flavour certainly didn’t hint at any coconut.b fairly reasonable priced, 2 drinks, 2 starters and 2 mains for less than $20.”
“Wondered what the 69 (Bar-Restaurant) was about until I saw their business card. Of course it meant “Yin and Yang” – silly me. The food was great, tasty and authentic and we dined upstairs in the narrow dining area – that was a bit squeezy with very dim lighting. The prices were comparable with other restaurants in the area and the service ok.”
