“They make a great chicken liver stew here! It may not sound good, but the rich sour cream-based gravy and a generous portion of chicken livers makes this a hearty and delicious dish. They serve good bread along with the meal, too. Lots to choose from, a quiet and friendly atmosphere and good service. We’ve been here a couple of times now and ordered a variety of dishes and have been consistently satisfied.
To find it, just go down To Ngoc Van until you get to Daluva’s, then make a left onto a narrow street and follow it down about 500 meters. It’s on the left.”
“First off I visited Bud’mo on the recommendation from a friend from Russia – he claims they serve the most authentic Russian food in Hanoi. Given the owner is from Russia and it was packed with Russian patrons I would tend to agree with this claim.
We ordered a wide range of Russian dishes including stuffed cabbage, veal with apricots, beef kebabs, smoked salmon and ‘Russian salad’. On top of that we got a bottle of honey chili pepper vodka which was one of the best vodkas I’ve ever tried. All of the food was exquisite. Atmosphere was very nice too – nice outdoor seating area with some people playing traditional Russian violin music. Overall an excellent experience and I will definitely be back.”
