“Our hotel recommended this place as a nice restaurant with good atmosphere. It’s set back from the road with a courtyard for outdoor seating (making it much quieter than most patios in Hanoi).
The food was fantastic and extremely fresh! A bit on the pricey side, but that’s expected for a white-tablecloth kind of place that serves you a cool towel upon arrival.”
“Given how much the food cost it was really small portions and badly cooked. The duck in orange was chewy and tasteless. Would recommend other restaurants for the same price see my other reviews.”
“We have been going here for 6 years, maybe a dozen times. When I read the negative reviews I realize how much depends on what you order and what the house does well. If you want spring rolls or fried rice there are manny other places that will do, but for soft shell crab, catfish with mango salad, etc., it’s hard to beat with a fair price as well. Service is good but just a little if any English spoken. Lots of locals eat here and they know its value. Our meal this trip was great as usual.”
