“Totally amazing food in glamourous surroundings. Every meal was a work of art. Treat yourself and splurge on a meall here and for us Aussies we would expect to pay triple these prices for this quality. A real highlight of our trip.”
“We had dinner on a mid-week evening. The ambience in a restored period house was warm and cozy. The food was good, but not great. The price/quality ratio is fair. The starters were competent – the beef carpaccio was good but over seasoned, the fois gras terrine was decent but the fig/apple sauce was overpowered by cumin”
“The setting in a colonial mansion is beautiful. However the menu and wine list were too huge to hold comfortably and somewhat pretentious. We chose the menu degustation which was excellent. The service was impeccable, supervised by a very attentive manager. When we finished dinner, we were offered a calvados by the manager – a nice touch.”
